Travel & Hotel Logistics

Getting in/out: McCarran Airport has info on shuttle options available to and from the airport. Vegas.com has additional travel options for destinations outside of (but close to) Las Vegas.

Hotel check in: The check in time for the Venetian/Palazzo is 3:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM. They are happy to hold your bags by request if needed. Check in and check out times for other hotels should be listed clearly on their websites when you make your reservations.

What to pack: Here’s a handy freebie from Chalk and Apples that’ll be helpful when you start to get overwhelmed and wonder, “did I pack that?”

Rooms Update: Venetian/Palazzo rooms at the discounted rate are now filled, but there are many options on or near the Vegas strip.

Before the Conference

Conference check-in times:

  • Early check-in Wednesday, July 8th 5 PM – 7 PM (If you can, we strongly encourage early check in.)
  • All day check-in Thursday, July 9th 7:30 AM – 5 PM
  • Morning check-in Friday, July 10th 7 AM – 9 AM

Conference check-in location: The Congress Center is located between the Venetian/Palazzo off of the mall that connects the two casinos. Think of the entire facility as a triangle: The Congress Center is one of the points of the triangle and the Venetian and Palazzo are the other two points. From there, follow the Come Together, Go Further signs down one escalator level or ask a helpful Team TpT member for assistance locating the TpT conference registration, our networking event, and the entire TpT conference.

Changing session choices: Please let us know when you check in and get your badge and we’ll work with you. Some sessions are full and will not be able to accommodate more attendees. We may check badges for some sessions to make sure those who signed up get first seats.

Day 1 of Conference

Where do I go? This year our entire event is located on one floor — see above “Conference check in location” for how to get to the Congress Center and TpT’s event area. There will be plenty of friendly Team TpT staff to help guide you once you’re there.

What if I get really turned around? If you are really turned around, ask a hotel employee for the Congress Center and/or the Rock of Ages theater. Once there follow the Come Together, Go Further signs or ask a Team TpT staff member how to get to TpT’s event area.

Should I check in before networking? Yes please — see above for check in times. If you can, we do encourage you to sign in and pick up your name badge during our early check in on Wednesday evening 5 PM – 7 PM.

What time does the conference start on Thursday? This year we’re hosting a two-day conference beginning with a bonus networking event that starts at 9 AM on Thursday morning. Please come and make the most of this time! After networking, there’s a break for lunch, then our first Welcome at 12:30 p.m. followed by sessions starting promptly at 1:30 p.m.

Will I know where my sessions, the Keynote, and Happy Hour are located? You sure will. When you check in and receive your name badge, you will also receive a program guide that includes all session and panel room assignments and a map.

Day 2 of Conference

What time does the conference start on Friday? The continental breakfast will be available from 7 to 8 a.m. just outside the Keynote room. Friday morning’s Keynote will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. and the sessions begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Will breakfast be provided? Yes, Friday morning, you’re invited to a lovely continental breakfast available starting at 7 a.m. just outside the Keynote Room. Please come and enjoy.

Friday’s Happy Hour: We hope you’ll join us for a Happy Hour from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10th in the Keynote Room. You will be provided one drink ticket that can be found in your name badge holder. There will be lots of opportunities at the Happy Hour to reconnect with new and old acquaintances, get your photos taken, raise a glass and toast to exciting new adventures, share your experiences and so much more. Huzzah!
